    About the project

    What if you could explore the world, on Bitcoin? From 2021 to 2023, I traveled across 40 countries, relying on Bitcoin to navigate economies, connect with communities, and experience the rise of a truly global currency.

    This book is more than a travelogue—it's a firsthand account of how Bitcoin is transforming lives, empowering individuals, and overcoming barriers in places you'd least expect. From paying for coffee in bustling Tokyo to buying handmade crafts in Ghana, each chapter uncovers a new story about the social layer of humans and the evolving role of decentralized currency.

    Writing this book is just the beginning. Funds raised will go toward editing, design, and publishing to bring this story to life. With your help, I can share how Bitcoin bridges worlds, challenges conventions, and inspires innovation, one transaction at a time.

    It all began with a phone call from a friend suggesting I travel the world using Bitcoin. Inspired by the ideas in The Bitcoin Standard, I decided to take on the challenge. In September 2021, I packed my bags and, with my Bitcoin wallet funded by generous Bitcoiners along the way, set off on a journey across 40 countries, testing the limits of decentralized currency and discovering the world in a completely new light.
