Polar

Polar is a free and open-source visual tool designed to simplify Lightning Network application development. It reduces setup time, provides a graphical interface for managing local Lightning networks, and improves developer productivity. Polar offers features like easy access to RPC connection information, credential management, network visualization, drag-and-drop actions, and support for multiple networks and nodes. It simplifies node updates, allows for chain split simulations, and is cross-platform and multi-lingual. Polar does not collect usage data, prioritizing user privacy. It requires Docker and Docker Compose and is designed for regtest environments to facilitate rapid feedback during development. Contributions to the project are welcomed.
